I have my doubts that you are actually being serious with this thread - nobody would discuss something like this about their child on a student website.

BUT.....just for the same of answering it.....if this WAS a serious situation, I don't think it's the fact that your 16 year old is watching porn that is an issue, but more the fact that "the little one was in his room crying because my son had threatened to hurt him if he told me what he was up to". That is the most disturbing part. Both that your 7 year old has obviously seen the porn, and that your eldest son has been threatening to hurt him.

But anyway, this is a load of rubbish, this thread is ridiculous and clearly not real.

Masturbating is normal, unless perhaps you masturbate 10 or more times a day.

Arn't you the guy who claims to be a Princeton university professor despite your name not appearing on any Princeton academic staff listings?
Yes, I believe he is. He's also the guy who dislikes MacDonalds and sex.

Everything about this is normal. Of course he's sexually confused - He's 16! It will pass.

I am a 41 year old single father with 2 sons, one aged 7 and the other 16. I work late nights during the week and sometimes ask my eldest son to look after the little one. But one day, when I had left early due to snow, I walked in to find my son pleasing himself while watching pornography on the internet. I was so devasted and he was extremely embarassed. I don't know what to do now. He hasn't talked to me in over a week and spends most of his time in his room on the computer. I think he has a problem. The doctor told me he may be a chronic masturbator. I haven't let him watch the little one since due to the fact that when I walked in, the little one was in his room crying because my son had threatened to hurt him if he told me what he was up to. I am worried my son may also be sexually confused as he was watching transexuals having sex. I am so scared for my son and do not know how to approach him about his issues. What should I do?

He's a 16year old boy, what else do you expect him to do? A lot of young teenage boys masterbate, it's normal and nothing to worry about. He's probably not talking to you because he's embarrassed to speak to you cause you caught him. And if he is confused about his sexual orientation then he will figure it out in his own time, maybe it would help if you talk to him about it.

He clearly desires to be a woman. Cut off his genitals while he sleeps. He'll thank you for it.

The only way you're going to solve anything is talking to him. The longer you wait the less he's going to want to talk about it.

Start by kindly asking him to talk to you, if all else fails cut the net in his room.
Oh and note that teenagers nowadays have the internet on their phones also.

Try to get him out of the house more?
Making him babysit all the time is probably boring him, so he's bound to find something else to do.

Like others have said. Talk to him. It is completally natural to have those urges at that age. Whereas in previous generations young men had to resort to their imagination, or magazines etc. Young men of today have the biggest free amount of pornographic material at their disposal. As far as I'm aware he doesn't have a problem; just too much free time. You also shouldnt be worried about the transexual stuff. Young people experiment with all sorts of things, through that is the only way they find out what their preferences are.

Hope that helps.

He is 16. It's completely normal. Let it go.

EDIT: didn't see the transexual bit...
Ermm maybe just talk to him, be blunt about it, something along the lines of "You know what you were doing, I know what you were doing, let's just discuss this and put it behind us?"
Why are you people wasting your time. This guy is a troll.

Was it "2 Girls, 1 Cup" he was satisfying himself to? If so then kudos, that rocks.

I could masterbate at least five times a day to that.

A: why are you asking advice about this on a student forum, where most of the people (females included) are chronic masturbators!

B: Why are you asking for advice at all. You're 41 and have been a dad for at least 16 years.

C:What's wrong with transexual porn. It's not illegal. (not my cup of tea though)

D: why do you insist on trolling!
