    OK, troll.
BMI is useless though. It is not helpful to anyone or anything, trust me son.

It's useful to her. She asked "what weight should I be for my height/age", and I gave a reasonable approximation based on BMI. I'm not defending BMI as a completely accurate measurement tool, but it gives a good enough approximation that she's looking for. Trust me, son.

BMI is a waste of time. It's the old 'one size fits all' business, which just can't work.

i know exactly how you feel.
i'm 5'5 and i weight 7.2 stone, if i'm lucky. i've been bullied, called a skeleton and accused of anorexia and bulimia.
i don't think that eating more will help. you probably have an extremely fast metabolic system, exactly like me, which means, your body digests everything you eat really fast.
my suggestion - just accept your body. you're quite tall too, maybe you should try some modelling?

ps. let me know if you EVER find something that helped you to gain weight. i'm actually contradicting myself now, as i just told you to accept your body, but hey.

HAve you tried the GOMAD plan?

Gallon Of Milk A Day. Drinka gallon of full fat milk a day and that helps put on a lot of weight.

And eating more will help. Just eat even more but GOMAD is easier as it involves less eating...

    you remind me of myself!

I used to get accused of anorexia by people in school... kids can be so horrible!
Yeah, I eat loads as it is and nothing much changes! Modelling? Nah thanks, I'm not confident either haha

I will let you know, even if you are contradicting yourself!

I'd talk to a nutrionist before anything. How old are you? I was 5'3" and about 100lbs all throughout high school and most of college. My senior year I started gaining weight and I'm at about 135lbs now. I'm the happiest I've ever been with my body and I didn't change anything in my diet or behaviour. As you get older, your metabolism will naturally slow down. One day you might miss your fast metabolism!
