Eurovision rules, I was just using it as an example.
@Ali: I can understand it being a private thing, but feeling pressured? Never felt anything like that. I prefer the viewpoint of potentially mocking anyone who says anything for listening.

I am a uni student and have a phobia of going to the loo during lectures for fear of taking a long time missing lots and people commenting on my dissappearance for this period of time.
This has caused me to skip some lectures complete because I feel like I need to go but will take too long if I go before the lecture and miss the beginning and don't want to leave part way through and not come back till the end
Can anyone help
Its a social anxiety around urinating. For some its about taking too long to urinate, for many its about having people nearby whilst urinating.
If indeed this is what you are suffering from it is the 'cure is'
1) Acknowledge the problem
2) Understand there is no quick fix
3) Train yourself to underdo the biofeedback. Congratulate yourself mentally when you have gone to the loo quickly, don't feel bad when your haven't.
4) Use methods to help yourself go - a common one is to count down from 10 mentally

All the guys on this thread don't see a problem, because we don't get up to go to the toilet, we just polish off an empty drinks bottle and re-fill it.
