I felt the same way and trust me, it's worth waiting for someone rather than feeling bad about it. It's not unusual by a long shot, and don't feel insecure - you have plenty of other things to focus on at 16!

im 17 and female and never had a bf.
sometimes i feel weird and it does get to me, but I know some of my friends that are in the same situation which makes me feel like im not the only one.
I have been close to having bf's but im just soooo shy!
just wana ask.. (i ask my older sister this all the time).. would boys care if u tell them that u have never had a bf or kissed a boy before?
cos i think they wont care if they REALLY like u, but some boys see that as not being "cool" or something. i think that puts me off telling them. what do u think?
what are you on about?? they might just be a bit surprised but doubt it would put them off... if it does then they are the weird ones... if your frigid then it might put them off depending on the guy...

You're only 16, chill. If you were 30, then we'd have a problem

I'm 18 and I've never had a bf or had sex (out of choice)
I'm worried about you...Have you ever been sexually assaulted? Because thats what is being implied here...

Just turn the sad face into a happy one, having a bf isn't everything, and as soon as you realise that and get happy from something else, a boyfriend will fall, possibly ****-first, into your lap.

You're only 16. Don't worry and just live your life! It'll happen when it happens.

I'm a month off being 21 and until a few weeks ago I'd never kissed a boy, let alone had a boyfriend.

Aged 16, I barely even knew any boys (all girls school). I've since then gone through college and most of uni without getting any closer to kissing anyone. Then the other week a friend drunkenly kissed me before I realised what was going on. Instead of shoving him off, I went along with it- my first kiss.

Since then I've realised its really no big deal, and certainly nothing to worry about not having done.

Lol I see what you mean. What it meant was 'I've chosen not to have sex until I've met the right person'. I wonder what you would have said if had said yes

I know right, I wonder what I'd have said too  You totally should have said yes, now you've left both of us to wonder.
Anyway, glad you've never been raped.
