Sorry, I'm not up for the UK becoming a Communist State...

Socialism (i.e. Brownite Labour) is as extreme as I go.

Make sure you ask them about their £45bn green 'investment' plan!

not that i'm judging but why do you have a picture of Joseph Fritzl as your signature?

The Greens are like a watermelon - green on the outside, red on the inside. Socialism with a designer eco label.

The Green Party have no hope in hell of getting me to join nor to getting into a government anytime soon. It is statistically and politically impossible. but again they said that about the SDLP (now Lib Dems) and look at them now.

it is oppurtunistic and I believe it is wrong to piggy back of such a thing. but again I guess that is what politics is about. piggy backing off legislature that upsets us. Labour will be a shoe in next general election.

RIP Future of Tories and or Lib Dems
    2010-2010 what a record

The Green Party is the party of the rich.

Green investment goes to large landowners like the Crown Estate (off-shore windfarms) and billionaires who own half of Scotland, industrialists who make the green machines and banksters and traders who rake in money for air (carbon credits, emissions trading scheme).

Green investment also goes to children of the privileged who land jobs working for WWF in jungles and who seem to always be jetting around the world attending conferences in locations that are never very far from a beach (Cancun, Bali, Rio, Bangkok etc.).

Are there no decent parties out there?
A fairly new party - Trade Union & Socialist Coalition (TUSC) http://www.tusc.org.uk/

formed in response to lack of parties who will fight for the average working family. Once upon a time this was Labours job - but the party has gone to far to the right and its virtually impossible to reclaim due to lack of democratic structures.

    Policies
No cuts, create jobs, build affordable houses, collect the 40-120bn tax gap, increase minimum wage, no discrimination, invest in renewable energy, withdraw from Afghanistan etc.

The Greens are single issue. Most people, even if it's bad to say, don't give a poo about environmentalism. They did well to win in Brighton, but I can't see further victories.

They are not the first, after the election the Labour party offered membership for £1 for students (and some others) nationwide.

I joined the green party a few months back after my passion for protecting the environment became a real political priority.

I left after realising that they're largely scientifically illiterate hippies who are more left-wing than the communists. Environmentalism should not be limited to the left, it should be a universal concern.

I wouldn't join them either, their Economic policies are not based on reality, let alone anything else.

Your avatar kinda exposes your political loyalites. There's only one party for you, eh?
