Hoping to come across a few new and interesting sites to add to the bookmarks bar so discuss..

For me, apart from the obvious FB/Twitter/TSR etc, I'd say:

HotUKDeals.com - to find bargains and freebies
Hulu.com - to get my daily TV fix, esp. when I'm at uni
Engadget.com - the best technology news site hands-down
How do you use Hulu in the UK?

Simples. It's just a case of spoofing my IP address by connecting to a VPN via IPSec and using that as the default gateway to trick Hulu into thinking I'm a US user (provided my internet traffic is being re-routed through US-located servers).

And you call that 'simple'? How can I do that, without knowing what VPM or IPSec mean or anything about it? (I have tried the usual proxy but Java won't work there... I've tried it with a UK proxy, though, as I'm in Spain.)

    Mine:
    Facebook
    Google
    TSR
    Spaniards abroad forum
Fotolog (it appears but I hardly use it, I just fixed it to stay without actually visiting the website)
    Hotmail
    My blog
    Formspring
    Twitter
    BBC
    The Guardian
    La Vanguardia
    El País
    Le Monde
    Il Corriere
    Amazon
Weather in my town (special website, just for my town)
    Etc.

One solution I recommend to my non-techie friends is Hotspot Shield. It's easy to set up and, best of all, free.

Cheers, mate. I'm installing now 'Expat Shield', to get a UK IP. Then I'll install the other one, if I see this one works and I actually know how to use it. Thanks, though!
