:O Well I know he does weed? Hopefully he doesn't do coke..How do you know?
'coke nails' used for sniffing or tasting..but a lot of people have it for different reasons like cultural (in some Asian cultures it symbolises wealth) so wouldnt worry about it! just the first thing that it reminded me of!

And yes we definitely notice, it'd be a big black mark next to a boys name in my head if he always had disgusting nails ><

Long nails on a guy is hideous, a right put-off. Even if they're only a couple mm long, they look feminine. I like guys to have masculine hands!

anything past a couple millimeters in legth looks feminine, nut if they are well presented and clean then its fine, but i deal with customers with desgusting hands all the time so it doesn't bother me too much anymore (yourr not bothered by anything when you see the colour of the water that comes off your hands after stacking bread in a supermarket)

This is a six of one situation.

I dislike bitten down nails, but long nails are weird. You have to find the elusive middle ground.

The nickname doesn't do much for me on this point, but i am a guy and like you file nails and even had a few manicures before. For me mainly my nails (until i started filing/manicures) just grew badly and one pushed into my skin at a certain length (ouch). So for me filing has worked wonders on my nails and they look much better than they used to and i have found them far easier to clean.

Some of the women on TSR really aren't as kinky as I'd hope

To quote a friend of mine: "You can tell when you've got a girlfriend because your nails grow all of a sudden :ahee: ".
Mine are generally long-ish anyway, usually as a result of not doing anything about it

    Question for the ladies, really:

Would you notice if a guy had well-groomed nails and/or finger nail area? What about if he had disgusting fingers, dirt under the nails, or simply bitten down to the very bone?

Reason I ask is, I got tired of clipping and biting my nails down to the bare minimum, and consequently having it hurt when picking things up, applying pressure with my fingers and washing my hands and so-forth. Hence, I've began recently growing them, making sure they look presentable, keeping the nails round, and it looks really good (in my opinion, of course).

I mean, it's not unusual for people to take exquisite care of their teeth, hair, face, skin etc-- I've just taken it one step further.

So, ladies, would you think that such attention to something quite trivial is weird for a guy? Or would it make you think he was generally more well groomed?

I know every bloke is going to think I'm a raging bender, though that's the risk I took when making this thread. Call the cops, I don't give a toss.
Imo, its fine as long as a guys nails aren't filthy. Or overly long...because then...ouch!
