    Haven't read much on it but I'm guessing you would be translating important messages etc. Go to MI6/MI5 websites and look it up. There is likely to be better choices for you on their site when you read up on the potential careers

    You wouldn't necessarily be wasting anything. Lots of people have a plethora of skills and traits that have nothing to do with their career choice.
    You could always utilise your apparent aptitude for comedy and impressions in the world of finance. You could learn Mandarin and go do finance in China. Become a journalist of both sports AND finance?
