What do you think? It's not a 'proper' dubstep, but I still find it likeable.

Dubstep is utterly ****e. I hope that helps.

I wonder what genre of music the middle class 16 year old London scenesters will be into next?

    Check out this playlist:

    http://open.spotify.com/user/stexbom...gqSaB21viPpwTP

It's the best of the best dubstep.

My personal favourites atm: Doctor P, Roksonix, Flux Pavilion, Caspa, Subscape, Trolley Snatcha, Dubba Jonny, Modestep (to a certain degree), Jakwob, Bare Noize..

    GET ON IT!

I changed the quote to make it look like you said that the playlist was everything wrong with dubstep, because even though you didn't, it is rubbish. I did this because I am very witty.

Thanks for the extrapolation. Why bother posting? Go flame elsewhere.

Burial... whilst I admit there are some good dubstep musicians (kode9, martyn, skream etc.) Burial delivers emotion like no other.

What makes an electronic musican great is precisely that... tha ability to bring out emotion in music that's made through seemingly emtionless blips and drums.

One of the few musician's musicians in electronic music.

Here's a few of the dubstep artists who I rate. Obviously music taste is subjective and all that, I tend to gravitate more towards the "deeper" dubstep side rather than the chainsaw noise WOBWOBWOB type, though some of that stuff's alright. I can definitely recommend checking out these though:

    Benga
    Boxcutter
Black Sun Empire (new stuff, old stuff is dnb though worth checking out as well)
Breakage (again new stuff is dubstep old stuff is decent dnb)
    Burial
    Coki
    Darkstar
    Digital Mystikz
    Distance
    Horsepower Productions
    Ital Tek
    James Blake
    Joy Orbison
    Kode9
    Kromestar
    Kryptic Minds
    Loefah
    Mala
    Mount Kimbie
    MRK1
    Plastician
    Skream
    Substep Infrabass
    Vex'd
    Zomby

I also like some of Magnetic Man and Katy B's stuff, although they're a bit more pop influenced rather than pure dubstep. A couple of Rusko's older tracks like Acton Dread and Cockney Thug I like as well, though most other stuff I've heard from him is fairly awful.

Terror Danjah's awesome as well though I think of his stuff as grime more than dubstep. Great music though whatever the genre.

I like Nero's dubstep remix's more than there proper tracks

Loving the way the video tries to give me epilepsy with it.

This needs a proper release as well, just :sogood:

Numbernin6 is also another, haven't heard a ****ty track from him yet.
