Kick Ass kicked ass compared to all the other films! Although Toy Story 3 was very good aswell Really wish I'd seen Inception though if people rate it better than Kick Ass

Well, I only saw nine films in the cinema this year, and have included Avatar here (which I actually saw on New Year's Eve 2009) just because it can be, according to the OP. But anyway, here goes (although the ordering of films 2-8 is very approximate):

    Toy Story 3
    Avatar
    Toy Story 2 (3D re-release)
    Tron: Legacy
    Robin Hood
    Up in the Air
Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole
    Ponyo
    The Last Station
    The Runaways

Though on top of that, there were some really interesting older films I watched outside of the cinema, like The Double Life of Veronique.

Haven't seen many but The Town beats everything IMO. Such a brilliant film.

    1. Inception
    2. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
    3. Iron Man 2
    4. Kick-Ass
    5. Shutter Island
    6. Toy Story 3
    7. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows
    8. Tron: Legacy

I've seen more than that in the cinema, but there the only one's I think are worthy of being mentioned in a top 10 (8).

    Hello Everyone

As we look back and reflect on the year that has passed, I want to know, what were your favourite and least favourite films this year? Why? Why Not?

    Thank You

Oh yeah about the ugly worst film I have ever had the misfortune to see!....

Is it just me or does Sarah Jessica Parker look like an anorexic horse!

    Inception? Such a common answer.

I know a lot of people hated it, but as a huge fan of the TV series I actually really enjoyed the film! Funny, witty, sexy and of course fabulous: Sex and the City 2. I really hope they make a third movie! Apparently, it might happen, but Kim Catrell isn't too keen on committing to another film. It wouldn't be the same without Sam! LOVE HER.

    It's a great movie.
Completely overrated. It's a good movie that seems amazing compared to the amount of crappy films that are released these days.

Out of the movies I've seen, Inception.

Shutter Island and Buried come quite close.

IMO Shutter Island was slightly better or at least just as good as Inception. Despicable Me was pretty brilliant as well. Probably a tie between Despicable Me and Shutter Island. Inception would be 3rd, it was NOT as good as everyone says it is, even though it was really good... it got TOO much hype. Period.
