Sometimes this liberation helps. But yes, I do.
    I liked that link.

Yes, I am also very up and down. I hate how I've let myself go. I hate how my body looks. I hate my personality and my voice. I hate my dry hair. I hate that I can't be open to my parents. I hate how I sometimes say no to my friends, simply to be alone. The slightest bad comments about these things bring me down, because I know it's true.

But whats helping is thinking about the positives - somehow there's a special someone who cares about me. Somehow my friends keep in contact and keep asking me over. I changed my lifestyle. I'm going to the gym. The feeling I have when I get home, is 10x stronger than all the negatives.

You said you look OK in the mirror but not in pictures - loads of people look rubbish in photos. I bet you're not ugly. The fact you think you are so ugly would explain your lack of confidence in everything else, so I would look in the mirror - because as you said you look ok - and concntrate on all your good features, hopefully you can build your confidence from there. Good luck

Absolutely, in particular my appearance. I avoid looking in the mirror like the plague and there isn't a single picture of me online on Facebook etc.
