Why the hell does it exist? If shops want to open for 6 hours, let them. If they want to open for 10 hours, let them. If it's so bad to work more than 6 hours on a Sunday, they are not obliged to; however I do believe shops should be allowed to open as long as they want.(Original post by Crazy Paving)
The Sunday trading law: shops were trying to get around it for boxing day this year. You try working Sundays and see what it's like and how 6 hours is fair enough, when you are old enough, of course. They must pay the fines.
It's just a way for the government to get more money, essentially.
