You have 7 dreams a night. Most you do not remeber. Of course you dream. Everyone does. If you did not than you would likely go insane
Where does the number seven come from?

And I also think Leo Di Caprio's role would have been better played my Michael Cera, due to the wonder of the tale.
    No. Please, just no.

    Honestly.

The thought of Michael Cera in Inception has almost spoiled the memory of a good film.

    Oh ****.

I meant Cera in Page's role as that was the character that needed exposition.

I thought you were being serious until you said the Michael Cera thing.

I was. I think Cera is a marvellous actor (apart from Year One or whatever which was absolute garbage).

If anything, Inception is easier for someone who doesn't dream (or rather, doesn't remember his/her dreams) to identify with. My biggest problem with it is that it makes its dream world rigid, sign-posted (how anyone can think it's confusing is beyond me), and filled with rules, which is pretty much the opposite of what dreams are really like.
Killer hallway fight though, the editing is great, and JGL and Hardy's banter is fun. Far from a masterpiece, in short.

If you can't see how it can be confusing, then you've not thought about it in very much detail.

No, it just means that all the dialogue is exposition, which it is. What was confusing about it to you? The fact that Michael Caine couldn't just fly Cobb's kids from the US to France? Me too!

I was confused by how much of the film took place in the protagonist's head. If you could work that out instantly you are either a genius, a liar or an idiot.

What does that mean if the whole thing about totems is simply a construct devised in a dream?

I hate this thing of "I couldn't relate, so it can't have been as good". The thing that you have to feel in tune with something all the time. Or if you read a book, "I loved it because I related to the main character". It just annoys me, especially since people are always coming out with it. It's a v. fashionable phrase. You don't need to 'connect' with everything! Instant gratification isn't everything it's cracked up to be

To be honest it wasn't really about the imagination and dreams and all that... There were no mad things like the stuff you see in your dreams. Maybe you just couldn't relate to that because it was very mundane (even though you're probably a troll because Michael Cera -wtf). If you want a real film about dreams with the weird stuff, watch Mulholland Drive or David Lynch's films.

Never! He's too soft, and he puts in nowhere near the emotional level into his acting as DiCaprio does. Guess thats why they chose him over Cera, not like Cera would have been considered anyway.

Just because you can never be sure how much takes place in Cobb's head, and how much is real, doesn't really make it confusing. I never really thought it was that confusing, but that doesn't mean I know exactly what happens. I probably haven't explained that very well, but I just think there's a difference between finding a film confusing and my personal response to Inception.

This is like saying "I cannot relate to porn because I'm a virgin."
