Just do things you will enjoy, and what you can get good grades from. People think A-Level psychology is 'a joke' like someone said but I think its really good for your personal statement: it gives you alot of things to say. Doing psychology i think is essential for the personal statement for a lot of people and you'll probably enjoy the subject.
Don't worry about maths. I love maths but its common for people applying for psych not to do maths at A Level and so the stats element is taught from scratch.
Don't take english literature though. So much work to do
