I love my job! I work as a radiographic department assistant at the hospital near me, get to choose the days I work (so it doesn't matter if I don't work for over 2 months whilst I'm at uni), get paid £70 for a 10am-3pm shift, meet interesting people, learn new things... it's literally the best job I could hope for at this point in my life

''Pick a job you love and you never have to work a day in your life''.......

One of the best quotes ever made
It's not as simple as that though is it.

I liked my old job (closed down now), I absolutely hate my current one though. I am quite worried now that I'll never find a job I love. This job is scaring me in case I end up doing something like it full time :bawling: Seriously depressing and soul destroying.

I loved my job in the bar, but that doesn't mean I enjoyed every second of it. Sometimes I had bad days, other times I had great days.

I hope I'll love my job (start tomorrow woop) though I doubt it, it's just admin and I'm not sure what to expect.. It's only temp anyway so no biggie ^^ I'm always worried though at the thought of working 9-5 in a job I hate for the next 40 years :/

i think there is only a very tiny majority of people on earth who actually love their job i.e. these people have a good deal of affection and passion for what they do, where money isnt a prime motivation. people like footballers and scientists like prof brian cox come to mind? i dont know.

most of the jobs we stick to are not made to be loved```

As people said, a very small minority love their jobs, and in those rare cases that do it's not really treated like a job. My advice is to start your own business or get on benefits.

I love my job, but I'm still glad when the day is over and I get to go home.

Love is a strong word but I used to really enjoy my job. I was sad to have to leave. A lot of it is pot-luck with the type of colleagues you get.

I work part time in a call centre collecting debts from people who have fallen into arrears. I don't hate it, but I don't enjoy it either. It's monotonous and they track everything you do, "oh you logged in 30 seconds late from break", "oh your cash per hour isn't good enough", talk about big brother.

But I do it out of necessity not choice.
