Newbie to buying things on Amazon...advice watch

Generally Amazon is fine, never had any problems. Got all my (many) uni textbooks off there too! However, pro tip: remember to check the edition if you're buying something for use in class. Sometimes they add/remove chapters with each new addition and when they say 'turn to p47' and start chatting about bicameral parliamentary systems, it's not very useful when your p47 contains some **** about the role of the Speaker... (happened )

Yes, Amazon is trusted by many many people Honestly, youre pretty safe there mate

As someone said before, if you use a credit card you will have the security of the company...

Another thought - Dunno whether you can pay with PayPal? I personally have never tried it with Amazon (have all my card details on '1click' buying system there ) but that would give extra coverage I would pressume

I have bought LOADS of things off Amazon over the years
