Wow...450miles for £35 is over 70mpg!(Original post by CurlyWurlyRach)
I got a nearly new toyota aygo for £5,800 and insured it for £700 no tax on it either!
Its really easy to drive, nice and small to park in tight spots, leather seats and aircon etc and it seems to go forever on a tank (i get about 450 miles to a £35 tank). Goes quite well for such a small engine and is a beast up steep hills (lots round me).

i drive like a granny and it shows in my fuel bills!
In all honestly im thrilled with the mileage i get. I had an ancient astra estate before the aygo and got 200 miles from a 50ltr tank.

Got my car (a clio) for £3000 and insured for £900 saved whatever is left instead of spending it all on a car- you'll need it for servicing, tax, petrol etc.
