Question: Is this a decent PC?
http://configure.euro.dell.com/dells...=dhs&cs=ukdhs1

It was recommended to me by someone, but I wanted a second opinion. Is it worth the money (which I now have btw ) or is there anything better for cheaper.

Bear in mind, building one is not ideal for me unless it will be incredibly easy and/or will cut £100 or so of the price.

Also, and earlier question asked was what kinds of games I was planning on playing. I will probably be playing games like Skyrim or similar RPG's, and possibly shooters like Team Fortress.

No it's not a decent PC if you want to game, you need a dedicated, not integrated graphics card. You need a PC with an AMD Radeon or a Nvidia GeForce something or other - the higher the number the better.

it is incredibly easy to build one, tutorials online are helpful, only cost issue is the OS, if you had one it would make things easier.

But basically on the computer expect very low fps and with lag on those games.

I would say post a copy of your current pc specs

to do this

windows key + r -> dxdiag

or

windows key + r -> cmd -> dxdiag

And from here I can assist with items to buy. I would also recommend buying items from ebay as you can grab some really good deals when it comes to hardware!

Next question; What is this laptop like?

It looks a bit too good to be true.

Weeell... It's an acer. Which automatically means its a bit ****, as the build quality is awful. It DOES seem very cheap, though, even for a budget brand. So there's probably a catch.

Seems quite cheap and typically Acer haven't had the best build quality on record, but it's getting better.

The graphics aren't the best and may struggle on good settings with the newer games.

If you really want to get into PC gaming and don't want to blow a load, build your own desktop, getting a laptop is expensive.

Thanks for the advice from the last 2 posters.

This one looks pretty amazing.

I'll probably get this one as it's affordable and looks like it fits what I want, unless any of you say otherwise.
