China is trying to crackdown on corruption within government, represented by the arrest of 400 government officials at the end of march who have been accused of various crimes. We hope to arrest 4000 officials still currently on the run. This includes one mayor who alledgedly took $120,000 in bribes and embezzling $362,000.
Singapore is impressed with the knowledge of the Chinese rep.

I could have sworn Finland and a few other countries had an official rate of zero corruption along with Iceland. Either way, an example to the world, including many countries that carry far more global responsibility.

The Ukiane appolgise for its very low position on the corruption list, 107th. This pole was carried out in 2005, possiably before, or at least not long after, the Orange Revolution that swepted our great president Viktor Yushchenko into power.

The Ukraine would like to make it clear to the MUN that now we are free from our former corrupt leaders and the oppresive shackles of Moscow we are doing all we can to become a free and democratic nation, and are working hard to reduce corruption.

After many years of thoroughly corrupt government however the task is not an easy one. Our epic journey from the darkness of tirany and oppression into the light of freedom has just begun, Rome was not built in a day and it may take take many months, if not years, of hard work before our nation will be free from this disease.
