Early Christians used to have to be circumcised because they had to convert to Judaism before converting to Christianity. Nowadays it's not part of Christian practice to circumcise, though in some countries like America it's done as standard as a medical procedure shortly after birth. I think only Jews and Muslims circumcise for religious reasons. Jews have a great big party for it when the boy is 8 days old.

As for them lasting longer - that depends on the guy anyway, so it's not really a universal law.

If we weren't meant to have one, we wouldn't have one.
What, like an appendix?

I suppose you could argue that we were meant to have an appendix, even if there was no use for it.

Ditto. Besides, it's not like most guys have a choice about it. And most will never experience sex both with and without foreskin so you can't really say what's "best."
I went to uni with a guy who had his hoody removed aged 22 for medical reasons and he said it ruined his sex life. After anout 3 months when he was at it again he said he had no sensitivity and sex bored him to hell. The only plus point was he could last longer which is no good if you can't feel it anyway!

That does suck. But take it from me that it's not quite so bad/feelingless for some guys.

I think it depends what your used to. Ask any guy who has a top hat and he will tell you if it rolls back wearing jeans and rubs it's painful. That proves it must be more sensitive than not having one!

Firstly, it's not a "top hat" or a "hoody," it's a foreskin. Not a difficult word to say.

I don't deny that men who are not circumcised probably are more sensitive. But that doesn't automatically mean that sex is total crap for every man who is circumcised. Otherwise why would so many porn stars have it done? (as i'm led to believe?)

she doesn't believe in sexual activity before marriage and she says that circumsized ones are better? where'd she get that knowledge from? LOL
From the sort of man she's apt to marry, I should think.

Is it not more anatomically correct to call it a prepuce? :p:

When you have one then you can comment on what you call it!

My mate does obviously have sex but i think he finds it difficult to get as excited over it as he used to. He does it more to please her than to please himself (which all the chicks will say is wonderful and the blokes will say is ****!)

Don't front like you don't watch porn lol, nah isn't the case that most American kids are circumcised and most pornstars are American.
Really?

I know a fair amount of guys who are, but there are a lot of Jewish people where I live and I thought that was the reason. Hmm, I shall have to start asking my non-Jewish guy friends.

Possibly, but people know what you're talking about with foreskin, and it does't make it sound like you're not old enough to use real words.

I think I just did comment. Deal with it.

Possibly because the USA is the biggest market for porn, and as circumcision is the norm that is what they want to see.

According to Ron Jeremy (speaking at the Oxford Union!) that's the main reason why they generally don't wear condoms.
