Sweet cider like Magners is always good. The dry stuff isn't bad either. Drambuie is a very nice liquer as is Creme de Menthe.

Oooh I discovered Kopparberg on Saturday, its so yummy, and I hate cider usually! Plus its a bargain for £1.99. Apple flavour is the best =D But then I've only tried apple and pear. I just searched it on google and you can get strawberry and elderberry too. WOW

Vodka and either orange or pineapple is good, disguises the taste. Actually the first drink I properly got into was gin and tonic. Slips down nice and easily.

    Absinthe.
ahh...that devil juice brewed from the urine of lucifer. fond memories..

on the drinking front, i'd reccomend perhaps a wkd blue or something? failing that, you could up the anti and try whisky mixed with something else...or malibu and coke..

    Eww alcohol

I can't stand the taste, but alcopops and Bailey's manage to hide it pretty well in my experience. But if you're drinking them, because they hide the taste of alcohol, it can be like you're drinking orange juice or whatever, so remember to be careful. Especially considering it's your first time drinking.

If you really don't like the taste, don't drink. I don't, and you can still have fun.

    It's not his first time.
