rpotter, open college, or did you choose downing?

do you mind, but what were your gcse grades?
I chose downing, mainly because when I was looking round in the summer they had a 5-a-side footy pitch and loads of grass on the main site, and the science site is right next to it which is good as im lazy :p:.

My GCSE grades were 7A*s and 2As

Hmmm, well its quite difficult to say. I got the impression that extra-curricular stuff wasn't that important, however that may vary from college to college. If you get good enough predicted grades, you will almost certainly get an interview, which is probably the single most important factor. Its very difficult to prepare for though, the best thing to do would be to get your teachers to give you mock interviews in the run up to your interview and perhaps get them to set you some hard interview-like questions. However you have to remember that they are looking for the way that you think, not just how much you know.

But for now just concentrate on getting good AS levels (you seem to be doing enought of them! :p: ).

Are you going to be applying for bio or phys natsci?
