OMG! Really?! How cool is that! Wow... I must go try it. :p:

What I really meant is that I don't need to talk to it because I don't get that bored. And I dislike talking to an AI. I even have problems topping up credit on my mobile phone.
I find AI interesting which is why I keep talking to it, until now, it's annoyed me enough to put it on block :p:

Does the AI gain significant knowledge from the people it talks to, or is most of its knowledge already programmed?

Depends how its programmed, SmarterChild can remember certain stuff about you that its programmed to remember (such as favourite food, likes, dislikes, etc).

I think that smarter child was created to monitor MSN Messenger use of people from all over the world?
Or perhaps it was designed for lazy MSN Messenger users who want instant help you get the information?
Or maybe made for MSN Messenger users who don't have many friends?
Ask it why, how, when, why, etc was it created...
I'm still smarter than it haha...but it won't admit it

Don't know about SmarterChild, but after hearing of such a... sad... concoction, I added the equivalent 'Spleak', purely for the sake of hilarity.

Needless to say, said humour wore thin almost simultaneously as it started.
I still keep 'her' on my list though; there are some useful features such as finding quotes from any Shakespeare plays. Yay.
