Erm no, I don't know what series you watched but I watched a series full of American actors with 3 Brits (Damian, Dexter and Ross McCall) and 1 South African (Peter something)... that was the main group of guys, there were a couple of other Brits later one during fillers but the main characters were mainly American.
Simon Pegg is in one of the episodes (Carentan maybe?), with 1 or 2 lines in an American accent

Yes but if you read the original quote and my response, it was in regards to main cast not supporting cast.

    Damien Lewis - British
    Dexter Fletcher - British
Shane Taylor (the medic) - British
Peter Youngblood Hills (Shifty Powers) - South African, but is basically from North London.
Nicholas Aaron (Popeye - the one who gets shot in the backside just after D-Day) - British
Ross McCall (Liebgott - the "Jewish" one) - British
Rick Warden (Steals Hitler's cutlery) is so British he's been in Holby City
Phil Barantini (Skinny) is so British he's been on The Bill
Robin Laing ("Babe" Hefron) is so British he was on Taggart
Jamie Bamber - only Americans think he's American
Marc Warren (Blithe - the one who gets PTSD) British and in everything British
Matthew Leitch ("Tab") - another Londoner
Craig Heaney ("Cobb") - so British he's been on Casualty
Peter McCabe (Hoobler) - is so British he's been on The Bill AND Eastenders
Peter O'Meara (Norman Dike - the incompetent officer) I'm pretty sure is from Northern Ireland.
Doug Allen (More - the one who keeps stealing stuff) - was "Nathan" in Eastenders.

    And don't forget Simon Pegg.

This is hardly surprising given that the whole thing was filmed just outside London. Anyone who has played an away sports match at the University of Hertfordshire- D-Day and the Battle of the Bulge is basically taking place on what is now their Astroturf pitches.

Massive Band of Brothers fan, one of the few series I have actually rewatched in full, I have probably seen it about 6-7 times now. Liked the Pacific too but was no where near as engaging as Band of Brothers.

Have watched each episode a couple of hundred times, easily.

    Best. Miniseries. Ever.

And Damian Lewis can do any number of new things and be very good at them, but I will only ever see Capt. Winters when I look at him. Which will be awkward if he ever becomes Bond [I'm kinda hoping he's next].

    You need better friends.

I love BoB. I even went to most of the actual sights when I was in France working. On weekends I'd go to see Carentan etc. This is me even doing a History degree and working in History, I still get excited about it, hah.

Me and my best friend have seen it so much we often quote random lines from it all the time at each other.

Was truly brilliant. I'll happily marathon it any time!!
I do indeed haha! That sounds pretty awesome, wouldn't mind going to see some of the sights myself one day, really into all that sorta stuff What do you do as a job? If you don't mind me asking  I've applied to study History as part of a dual this year
