Take all risks and enjoy all opportunities whilst you're young. Also, never ever fear rejection from anything. Rejection > regret.

    YOOOOOOOLOOOOOO!

    But no, in all seriousness:

    - Always do right by yourself and other people. Some may tell you that your effort is a waste of time on the grand scale of things, but what is an ocean but a multitude of drops?

The same thing Barney Stinson's father told him when he left him.

    Never. Stop. Partying!

Although I'll probably just tell them that part of growing up is learning how to cope with the sheer amount of drama that goes on in the world.

Out of interest, what would be the one piece of advice you'd give your kids? Let's assume this would be the one thing they'd take on board without question. It could be mistakes you made, things you did or didn't do...
The only thing we experience is the NOW.

There were past NOWs followed by the now NOW, with future NOWs coming down the line.

Don't think that the current NOW is anything special. It will go away to be replaced by another NOW.

Time is precious. Make the best use of whatever time you have, for you will never know if
there may be a tomorrow. We live in a constant world of change, from day and night, young to old, birth to death. Nothing is constant, that is a fact of life.
