I usually used a VPN until I couldn't be bothered anymore and noticed significantly slower speeds. Then I went and used my real name on TSR like an idiot so I kinda have to watch what I say.

I got killed all the time on MMO games when I was younger because I always trusted the wrong people
Well, maybe now you kill everyone? :mmm:

Yes, TOR, VPNS etc. Never to post comments about people, which I think you're referring to.

    I'm not anonymous...
Close though as there are lots of people called Kate.

I'm using anonymity right now. Mainly because I'm a pretty outspoken atheist and I have Christian friends who would probably (wrongly) take offence at my views.

I am anonymous behind this username. I haven't told any of my friends or classmates I use TSR and my username on TSR because they'd see my posts and everything I've written. *Ahem* Only my older cousin on here knows my real name and identity.

Anonymity to what degree? In most meaningful senses everyone posting in this thread is anonymous, since nobody else who reads the thread has a clue who they are.
By 'anonymity' OP means the deliberate hiding of your real identity.

The most public I am is probably Twitter and here. More so on Twitter.

Facebook is for friends and family only, whereas I really don't like ask.fm at all. It's very intrusive and can be a potential area for bullies to get their victims.

I thought Christians were supposed to be tolerant of others' views even if they didn't agree with them personally.

I wouldn't say they're intolerant, but unfortunately when atheists speak out about their own beliefs they're often regarded as intolerant themselves. You know what I mean, you'll question God's existence and believers take it as some sort of insult. Don't really want my friends to view me like that.

    Yep. On here.
None of my friends/family are aware I'm on here, which is just the way I like it
This allows me to vent/express any views I'm not really able to do IRL.

Just to avoid people knowing a lot of information about me, it's nice to be able to have no one know you.
