I stopped going regularly at around the age of 23, not as a conscious decision, I just gradually stopped going. But I'll still go sometimes (anywhere from once in two years, to twice in a month) and I'm 29 now. I tend to avoid the 'student' clubs with very young crowds, because that atmosphere isn't what I look for anymore, but there are plenty of different clubs around and quite often I'm towards the younger end of attendees.

Never because I've never been there and have no desire to ever place my foot there.

My dad is 44 and still enjoys making shapes on the dance floor.

One time I went out and there was some old Eastern European dude with white hair just standing there looking at all the girls. I started talking to him because I thought he was totally awesome but the girls I was with told me to stop because he was scaring them

I'll keep going until the enjoyment goes from it. Generic clubs i probably wont be going to past my 20's. Simply i go because my mates go and whilst i do have a good time it's because of the people not the music, over priced drinks etc

Nights out at "specialist" night clubs with house, trance music etc and often having DJ's i like on... well i'll keep going to them until as i say i no longer enjoy it, but probably a lot longer than the above.

I enjoy clubbing but totally understand why some people don't, it in no way makes people boring if they don't enjoy doing it, to think that actually suggests your quite a boring person by not being able to see past a night on the town. So much more to life...

Well I'm 25 now and I definitely have noticed a decrease in the number of nights out myself and my friends have. Whereas it used to be every Tuesday & Saturday without fail (and sometimes Fridays as well) it's now more likely to be every 2 weeks or so on a Saturday night. The joys of getting older.

I stopped going at around 22. I just turned 24, and when I go to those places I think it's just sad tbh.

It's for people in their late teens/early twenties, and then for those with a midlife crisis.

At 24 I'm beginning to feel old in student clubs, yet I've got 2 years left of uni and my housemates and friends are mostly 19-21. Across the next 2 years I'll probably go to less nights like that and more house nights etc where you get a more diverse crowd and the aim of the night isn't to just get absolutely ****ered. I'll probably stop going all together at 30.

I used to go clubbing every week. Now it's more like every other month or quarterly. I'm 23.

I'm 18, never been nightclubbing and probably never will unless I get invited for a birthday. It's not my thing. Sounds sweaty and gross and the music seems ****ey :/

When I turned 18 I went every week, and then I started uni at 19 and went 2-3 times a week. I'm nearly 21 now and in my second year of uni and I've been once so far this year. I'm happy to go now once every 3 months or so but it's really not my thing anymore, I did it to death for 2 years and now I'd rather go out for a nice meal, to the cinema/theatre etc.

I am probably older than most of you and went to a rave at an abandoned warehouse yesterday with my housemate who is about 35 and was off our tits....so tbh I think I will still go when I am fairly old.

But the older I get the longer the gap is between going out....saying that I was out last weekend and will be out again Sunday...I really need to grow up.

It'll just happen, it won't be a conscious decision for me at least. I'm thinking 27-30. I'll go to bars forever and I'll start clubbing again when I retire

I have reasons not to come there. And what's the point of me going there ? I prefer just going out somewhere else instead of a loud place where most of the people just go to get drunk and hook up with guys/girls, especially gay clubs...

Probably mid 20s I guess, I enjoy it when with the right people but it is a bit weird when you see people in their 30s in a club full of 18-21 year olds!

I'll probably stop going regularly when I leave Uni/Start a career properly. Definitely still going to go on random fun nights with friends for alot longer though.

Each to their own, I enjoy going out to clubs to be perfectly honest. You go to the pub, have a chill out drinking and playing pool/relaxing a bit, and when you're all drunk and ready for a laugh you go to a pub to dance it off. If nobody went clubbing you'd have drunken idiots wandering the streets shaking it off by doing stupid stuff everywhere, better to have it controlled in one pit.
