I would say my favourite character is Lucius Malfoy, but that's only because of A Very Potter Sequel.
My favourite book was probably Goblet of Fire, but my favourite movie was Prisoner of Azkaban.

My favourite book is Order of the Phoenix as there is lots of back story to the characters and an epic duel between Dumbledore and Voldemort.

My favourite character is Bellatrix. Helena Bonham Carter portrays her so well in the films.

I also love Bellatrix! Helena just makes her seem like such a badass. I was gutted that her death wasn't as good in the film as JK made it in the book with Voldemort screaming. I don't think we saw enough of Bellatrix and Voldemort's messed up relationship in the films.

My favourite character is Severus Snape (I like Remus Lupin too, but he's a distant second)

Favourite book... torn between Prisoner of Azkaban and Half-blood Prince.

Exactly! Her death in book was awesome. I love it when Mrs Weasley screams "NOT MY DAUGHTER YOU *****!"

Favourite character - Snape by far!
Favourite book - the half blood prince (but favourite film is a toss up between the chamber of secrets and the deathly hallows part 2)

I am a total Harry Potter nerd

That scene is my favourite!! Mrs Weasley is just as epic as Bellatrix but in a motherly way. Kind of like an English Mrs Brown! (If you haven't seen Mrs Brown's Boys you're missing out!)

I always wished that they would put peeves in the films, he could have been brilliant if played right, the twisted little man

Favorite characters were Voldermort and Dumbledore- both massively powerful and truly believed in their ideologies and values. Always seemed to be a air of mystery to both characters which made them much more exciting. Not saying they were the two people I would want running the harrypotteruniverse, just that they were by far the most interesting characters to read about imo.
Snape comes a close second, due to his sarcastic mannerisms (as someone else put it) and his general aura and then his bravery and selflessness.
I liked Mcgoganell (cant remember her names spelling) too, she always seemed to give of a sense of control and authority.

I didn't really like the kids :/. They were all a bit too "average kids forced into extraordinary circumstances" rather then extraordinary kids.
Would have preferred reading about the Dark Lord pbuh ( i joke) or Dumbledore growing up as they were true exceptional prodigies.
