Because last January (as far as I remember) ... To get a C was (hypothetically) a mark of 40... But in June when the same exam was taken to get a C you had to get, say 50. This was due to pressures from the government. If the person who'd taken the June exam had taken it in January they would've got a C. So this year to avoid the whole protest blah bah thing they're withholding the grade boundaries until both exams are done.

Why are you retaking English Lang? You got an A*, it's not going to go down and no-one will see what mark you got!!!
It's actually very possible that it will go down given all the 'making GCSEs tougher' business. Besides, I'm not retaking anything else, so no skin off my nose to retake it.

    I've got:
ICT - B (but without sitting final exam... Need only 4/40 for an A or 24/40 for an A*... So basically a VERY VERY easy A*. Both units of coursework were perfect and dropped four stupid marks in the first exam.

    R.S - A* (S.C) (We do 2x S.C exams to equate to a F.C. I got A* (95/100) for the first one so need (85/100) to keep my A*.
