I think it was about the functions of the family?? I can't really remember either, sorry! I just remember seeing the family qustion and thinking I really have failed at this!
Ooooh yes, it was ike socialisation is the best family function.
I didnt get many for arguments for this, i did quite abit of waffling on this also.
    okay so for-

Socialisation is the best family function as they are your primary socialisers and teach you the norms and values in order for u to fit into society.
They also are responsible for gender socialisation, e.g dressing you in pink or buying you dolls. And i just rambled on from this point lol.

    against-

economic provision is most important as that provides shelter and food blah blah

emotional support - without affection or love shown to you at a young age, you may be more criminal and an outcast of society and i said something about oxana malaya.

and the final one was regulation of sex, the family controls who you sleep with and teaches you right from wrong with partners and that can prevent pregnancies and std's

Oh yeah, I remember now haha!

I put the same kind of points as you for the socialisation!

Oh no, I totally forgot about economic support!! I also put something about emotional support and regulation of sex, but I don't think I have gone into enough detail after reading what you put!

I also put about physical care.. Not sure if that is even a reason, but I included it anyway!

I got a low C due to some difficulties at home at that time. I have retaken that exam this year, so hopefully I can get a better grade!

Aww, I know how you mean! I only managed to evaluate 2 out of the 3 questionnaires as I ran out of time! I just said how they both provide qual and quan data and that the samples could have been chosen better, then gave a couple of examples how it could have been improved and then I analysed the wording of the questions. I bet you did fine! How did you answer it?

    Really? Haha!

I had 12 minutes, but I spent 6 minutes on each questionnaire so I didn't have time to analyse questionnaire 3!

Also, what did you put about the advantages of unstructured interviews? I said about how unstructured makes the respondant feel more relaxed and at ease, therefore they will open up more... I also said another point but I can't remember what it was now!

Lol this thread is turning into a convo haha. And yeah, i did the same advantage as you and also that if the candidate was unsure about a question, the interviewer would be able to rephrase it.

What did you get in Sociology?

I couldn't believe what I was reading when I read the paper, I got an A* overall!

For the sociology basics and applying research techniques, I got high A's, and for the culture, socialisation and identity paper, I got an A*, 7 marks from getting full marks for the whole paper!

I hope you done well too!
