So how did it all go for you guys? I done the question on error of judgement when proctor tells the court Elizabeth doesn't lie.

What did you guys do? And how was your other essay question and close reading?

I answered question 1 on reverend Hale. I know the obvious choice is Proctor, but I had done an essay on a question pretty similar to this in class and got 23/25 so I was very pleased that question came up!

Ah I see, well that was perfect then! reaction to the questions seemed to be mixed for our year. For some classes the questions were superb and for others they weren't. They said that the questions were very bare and nothing like they had seen before. Suppose there is a sense of luck in the quality of question which appears

I did the error of judgement of when Abigail beings to lie and suggests whitch craft ("I want the light of God... I want the sweet love of Jesus... I danced with the Devil") and of how that was the beginning of the chaos and it was all Abigail's fault. I talked about how even when innocent people were losing their lives she still wouldn't come clean!

I did Hotel Room 12th Floor for my other essay though. Question 15 was perfect for it!

I thought the close reading was really fair this year and the passage was relatively interesting!

I didn't properly learn full characterisation for Abigail so I was restricted in that sense! It was just such a perfect question

I thought they were interesting too. Makes it slightly more bearable when you're not reading something that's tediously dull.
