Of course I often think to myself as I lie in bed 'I am the scourge of this generation'.

Just because we're young doesn't mean we have to sleep at 4am everyday.

    I still do U_U

    Agreed.

Can't work out if he's a terrible troll or just really pathetic.

Early? I go to bed at 2am, technically that's VERY early. Sometimes I go to bed at 9. Do I care what other people think about my sleeping pattern? No.

    Well..

Except for maybe my girlfriend and my mum. But that's hardly letting down a generation.

Who is honestly going to care?

I'm tired, I go to bed. I'm not tired, I stay up. Not a hard decision!

What a stupid question, who would even have this mindset?
Evidently somebody without that amount of energy who felt like people judged them and ostracised them for lacking it?

What I'n saying is 'I should do more things and socialise more' but realistically I don't have the time and energy to be socialising any more than, say, 2 or 3 times a week.

I don't know what time everybody else goes to bed but I associated the university/work stress culture with 'just get on with it', which also means who cares if you need to rest, go do your ****ing work

Where is this boundless energy you speak of? I feel like an old man so no I do not feel like I'm letting my generation down. I've done my fair share of partying so I believe I equally deserve rest and relaxation.

The energy is something no-one has but everyone is expected to have right through the professional world
It's fake and if I'm going to survive I have to fake it
9I'm not very good at faking it. Hence why this can't be a troll account
They're probably right and I'm 'retarded'

These are some of my ideas of 'chilling out'. Socialising or even being outside actually exhaust me.
This is why I think I'm becoming boring

Of course not. I do what I want, regardless of how it may be stereotypical of my generation to do or not do.

i dont see the point your trying to make
In some rather dumbass and potentially dangerous way I'm trying to neglect my own needs (such as sleep) so I don't feel I'm upsetting my peers by being 'boring' 'lazy' etc.

    It's ****ing stupid
