    im thinking of talking history as i do it now and am good at it. But im kinda worried as all the subjects I'd be taking would be essay writing subjects.

    Unless you plan on going into a science area at uni like Physics or Chem, I think it would count. Mostly, it is considered a social science.

    id say math to show you can do something outside of the humanities

    Do what you enjoy, but also something you know you'll get good grades in. If it comes down to you doing, for example, sociology in uni, then it won't really matter what the subject was so long as you got the grades! This is something my school failed to tell us all last year so lots of people ended up doing worse than they thought!

    *take this from someone who took drama, English lit, maths and physics AS, and dropped physics for A2. I've had 3 uni offers so far and 2 interviews for the others to do English Lit and Theatre
