Half time, United will go through on away goals if this stays the same after extra time, as away goals come into play if it goes to extra time.
is that a new thing or has that always been the case?

I honestly think Kagawa needs a run in the side, he needs 5-6 games on the trot to find some form, he is clearly an immensely talented player and I'd hate us to get rid because I am pretty sure he would go and do wonders where ever he went.
He's not going to get 5-6 games. Same as Nani. Moyes seems hellbent on playing Valencia every match. If I had a choice, I would play Kagawa over Valencia, but Moyes and Sir Alex love(d) him. Although, he hasn't started tonight. I'm very happy to see that. Januzaj came in and impressed in his sub appearances and now has won his place in the XI.

If Kagawa wants to stay in the team, he has to show something when he gets a match or two. As of now, he's shown nothing in my opinion. He has put in some horrible performances and hasn't deserved to continue playing.

Always been the case in the League Cup that away goals only count after extra time.

Glory glory Man United has to be the worst football song ever? Even worse than that Chelse chelsea chelsea chelsea chelsea chant they sing at Chelsea. And worse than the majority of Arsenal's fail/unimaginative chants such as Oh Santi Cazorla

His ideal position is an attacking midfielder, if we are going to play him as a winger he is going to need a period of game time to adjust. Lets face it we are out of the title race, IMO we might as well use the rest of the season in the league to give these players chances in the team and if they don't take them then ship them off in the summer.

I agree, but it's ignoring his poor passing from the left side. Why should his passing be off because he's playing on the left? He gets simple things wrong and it gets ignored. It's also frustrating to watch him take 10 minutes to make a pass and then getting pushed off the ball.

There's more reason to play him central if Van Persie and Rooney aren't playing. He's playing central now. This is his chance to do something.

Smalling showing why his future is at CB here, one of the few bright sparks of this match (touch wood a million times).

Of course Valencia has to get on the pitch.

Kagawa subbed out. Moyes doesn't like the lad.

Hernandez has been horrendous this game. Why Welbeck is playing AM beggars belief. He should have taken Hernandez, put welbeck up top and played Kags in behind. Don't think he had a bad game tbh.

Sunderland will score. 3-2 on aggregate

That's also what I would have done. Hernandez has done nothing, but it was to be expected. I guess he's kept him on, because he's barely played.

Don't think Kagawa was bad, but not good either.

I feel the pressure is on United to score a second, not on Sunderland to score.

When was the last time we were not dominated at home? Our players look shattered.

Why is Januzaj time wasting when this is going to go to extra time?
