Different things work for different people, but I've found study buddies the best thing. As long as your study buddy is serious about working, and isn't likely to be a liability.

Failing this, I've found that just having accountability to someone other than myself keeps me in line. During crucial working periods in the past (exams, dissertation completion etc) I've had arrangements where I've reported to one of my best friends what I've done work-wise each day. That worked well.
    Oohh, I might try that

    Never heard of that one

    Embrace it
    I did

I've got my exams this week, and keep finding everything around me interesting! The best thing that I have done is taken myself away from my house and gone to a local library, there is little distraction as you've come with a purpose which makes you focus on your revision! It really helps

You've got to make yourself accountable to someone. The only way for someone to succeed is to put yourself under a little bit of pressure and think that when the grades come out if you have got lower than your targets you've let not only yourself down but your family and friends. What should drive you is that daunting prospect of possibly failing if you aren't putting the work in. After all you know the truth!! Keep your chin up and grin n bear it everyone. it's like going to hell and back but it's worth it!!
