Did you therefore privately object to Ukip's prior attempts to hold a referendum in recent parliaments?
No, I was supporting the party and attempting to substantiate our existence. I still think that an active eurosceptic party is in place here, though.

Exactly this and I would like to declare my opposition to this election. When I was in UKIP, we were being told that our referendum on EU is pointless, or that the whole party is pointless since MHoC does not rely on EU legislation in any way, so I guess we should act like it, then.
Part of me does agree with this, but I think that it's a bit of fun to tie in with the RL election, gets us all doing something different and may draw people into the MHoC which is always a benefit.

I intend to stand as an independent representing Sinn Féin, working with the Socialists as part of the European United Left.

So yeah, the EPP is totally going to show you all up.

Being serious, the fact that the Tories left it and we're not using the Tory logo (party voted, ECR got it by 45% to 34%) means i have no clue what our vote share will be. Our message should be clear though.

    Any predictions?

Certainly hope you do better than the ECR. But the European groupings are being placed alongside TSR Party, aren't they? So I'd have thought TSR Conservatives endorsing the ECR would produce a similar result to general elections, maybe a bit lowered due to the EPP taking some votes.

    I think we're doing 'European People's Party - Endorsed by x'.

If a mass PM goes out then i'd assume that the EFP would get the plurality given how divided the pro-EU left is. I suppose it depends how prominent the group vs party is in the manifesto.

Nah I don't think we can justify a mass PM for a small event but I am considering holding it in UK Politics where it'll get a bit more exposure. I'm not sure about that at the moment though, we'll see how things unfold.
