Hey, does anyone know how to reference a post on livejournal.com? My dissertation is on fan fiction, so I have several quotes from people's blogs, but no idea how to put them in my bibliography.

Any and all help is appreciated - my supervisor and I are having trouble finding any information about it.

It would be referenced the same as a website, would it not? Incidentally, who is your supervisor?

Dr. Mark Brown - he's the CSP director, but also teaches postmodern american lit in the third year (and supervises dissertations, lol ).

How have you found the course so far? I think there's been a few changes since I started *all* those years ago...

We've decided to go for the standard website reference now. The reason I wasn't sure is the fact that I was quoting other people who had replied to the LJ post, rather than the person who had posted it.

Ah, I know Mark. He's a nice chap. Good luck on your dissertation. I love the courses! Just picking my modules for a semester abroad at the moment.
