As mentioned before, you don't need to take AP nor PSAT and NMSQT, while GPA is not an actual exam. The only ones actually required is one of SAT/ACT and sometimes SAT IIs, which isn't that hard at all compared to the three or four A-Levels people typically take (which are known to be more challenging than American exams).(Original post by fnatic NateDestiel)

I hate Gove, in the US though there are sooooooooo many exams to take - AP/SAT/ACT/SAT2/PSAT/NSMQ/GPA etc.
No Gove is horrible and has wrecked a decent system as of before.
And for academic difficulty, it has to be one of the East Asian countries - probably China, where they have fierce competition for university places, little time for extra-curricular activities and their exams crammed into just a few days.
