    I'm sure I've either been told or I've read somewhere that the average income is around 20-30k, which is mainly the reason why students ave to earn over 21k before they start repaying their student loans. Personally, my mum's income is around 42k, which is above average, but going by some of the quotes on here, it's not actual very high O.o

    Dad is an engineer/executive in a large energy company which is were the bulk of the income comes from.
