Not necessarily true. Sportsmen get different sponsorships depending on how they look. People like Rooney or Andy Murray get general sports sponsorships or for typically bloke-y products like deoderant.

People like Beckham or skinny Ronaldo or that Rugby bloke get fashion and aftershave sponsorships worth a lot more (on top of their sports ones).

I don't see Mo Farah getting this gig any time soon:

Yup and Sharapova earns a ton more than either of them. I wonder why...

It sure isn't because she's a better tennis player, coz she isnt.
