    Economy is important, but not HUGELY - I'm not going to be driving much more than 100 miles a month, so a slightly less economical car is better value if the price of the actual car itself is very reasonable.

    Then especially if your journeys will be very short you might as well get a petrol rather than a diesel.

    Im biased but id say a dacia. Theyre good cars, And cheap to run, efficient etcetc
