It was one of those Pop Party ones. I felt like the epitome of swag listening to it on my personal CD player down the streets

Is the first CD I bought myself.

Both are pretty bad! Though SHM 97 did have some absolute classics on it. :yep:

    Will Young - Evergreen.

    No regrets.
Keeping with the Pop Idol 2002 theme, mine was Gareth Gates - Unchained Melody. The shame, the shame.....

Yeah, that gets a full-on 10 on my shame scale. But your username suggests your music taste has somewhat matured, so, at least it wasn't forever

A Celine Dion album. I think it was the Color of Love or something like that.

Hybrid Theory. 0/10 because it's still their best release IMO, even though I don't listen to nu-metal any more.

I do believe mine was the Cheeky Girls. I remember getting a voucher for my birthday for HMV, and deciding to buy that. Why didn't my parents stop me!?
The first one I owned was Steps Gold: Greatest Hits however!

    Oh the shame.

Arcade Fire's Funeral, I was about 8 years old and just really liked the look of the CD and I took it home and it changed my life. Still have my copy of it, even though it's broken the dang thing means too much to me

Oasis - Definitely Maybe was the first album I bought.

Mavericks - Dance the Night Away was the first single I bought.

    Both classics.

It was either Gold - ABBA or Americano - Offspring

The latter was so bad my parents ended up with it!
