Hi! Just wondering what everyone else is doing over the summer.

I'm reading 'How to Get the Buggers to Behave' which has really good advice about things which seems really obvious but I'm sure I'd never think of!

I'm also stocking up on stickers, colouring in books and other things to take out on placement.

    Anyone else?
It is exciting buying stuff but most of the stuff you will need will be available at the school. A pencil case, a couple of folders and a few spare glue sticks (for when you're being observed and the children do not have their own glue sticks, despite the fact it is a compulsory stationary item to bring to school...) is all you should need for yourself.

Take the summer to do all the things you want to, see friends and family as much as possible. When you get on placement you will have very little time to do this and will be cancelling plans left, right and centre so make the most of it now! good luck!
