Incredible women standing up against feminism

They're the beneficiaries of feminism, because being able to stand up for yourself or what you believe in, is what feminism promotes :dunce:

Who makes you the person to decide that feminism has come far enough?

I didn't invent this opinion. It's what both men and women have been saying for ages now.

The feminists achieved that ages ago. They should therefore stop, but they're now trying to secure unearned privileges, which is not on.

Karen Straughan is a big anti feminist female. You should watch videos on youtube

I completely get Women Against Radical Feminism... but Women Against Feminism.. seriously? Feminism is just equality for women and men... that's women against equality; stupid.

Plus, these women wouldn't even have 'voices' to be against feminism if it wasn't for feminism!

Ridiculous.

there is no clear differentiation between the two, radical feminists claim they represent the mainstream modern feminist movement

these ladies oppose the internet vitriol of extreme feminism which has become popular recently, not the past achievements of historic feminists

I asked a lady to make some food whilst I made the camp fire, and she said ok, but another feminist scum went all feminist on me, and for what?! Great facebook page and great anti feminist ladies, glad they exist.

I am sick of that argument.

Definitions are not provable. It is not a binary operation where once you define something, the universe somehow bends itself to match the definition you've pulled out of your arse. I could just as trivially define feminism as when bananas and watermelons have sex, and then when somebody makes a claim about feminism that is to the contrary, deny it because it doesn't match with my definition.

Definitions are descriptions. You cannot prove that what is being referred to by the definition matches the definition by referencing the definition itself.

Anti feminists deny that feminism matches the definition you have proposed. Clearly, "but muh definition!" is not a appropriate response.

I'd love to agree with you, but that's not what those women are doing at all if you go on the faceboook page - I wish it was. Some post photos like 'I don't need feminism because I believe in real equality?'... I'm sorry, what? or 'I don't need feminism because I'm not a victim?'.. Just because some 16 year old facebook addict in america takes a photo saying that their not a victim does not mean there are not other women who aren't victims?

They haven't differentiated anywhere on the facebook between first wave feminism, second wave, modern or radical. It's the most uneducated thing I've seen in a while.

It seems like the name "Women Against Feminism" is rather misleading. It gives the idea that they are entirely against feminism in any form, which is ridiculous. Fair enough being against the radical feminist movement but being against feminism in its true form? Nah.

Interesting. If definitions are not provable, or mean nothing, why even bother commenting in the first place. Perhaps the president or the prime minister should have no power, because after all, the definition that they are head of state could equally be that they are the CEO of Heinz Baked Beans.

You have to have definitions for causes. What is homophobia if we can't define it, or racism? And especially in this case, if these women want to be anti-feminist (which they have every right to be) then they need to know what they are actually 'anti' about. And that can only come from knowing about feminism, which I think, they don't fully understand. They see radical feminism and assume everyone is like that.

The fact that they even think they can make a cause like this is a result of feminism giving women a vote and voice in the political sphere.

The silence from TSR's feminist army on this issue is deafening. They know their days are numbered now that women are awakening to the dangers of feminism.

No. Why, are you so wrapped up in your own views that you think anyone who disagrees with you must have special needs?

Feminism didn't give women the vote, Socialism did. Some of the earliest Feminist thinkers like Wollstonecraft and JS Mill had extremely limited success with women's rights. As far as the UK is concerned, Socialism is what made progress for women. And that progress wasn't specifically for women - it was for all people. That is how one pursues true equality - not by seeking only to help women.

Not that. Just that this entire page screams of special needs...

I didn't express any views, or views on your views. I merely thought your obsession over feminism and writing patterns were slightly odd.
