I bought some gambesons the other day, but they've not been sent out from the merchant yet and the money hasn't left my account so I can't really say I've bought them yet.

Prior to that it was a return plane ticket to, and hotel in, Sicily. But that's not really a 'thing' that gets delivered.

Before that it seems it was some CDs and books for my family for christmas.

So the last thing I bought and actually have something to show for it was a tripod for my camera:
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hama-Star-Tr...ywords=hama+75

It's not supposed to take DSLRs but it does and I don't feel as though it will fall to pieces at the slightest breath of wind, so it was £11 well spent.

Ja man. Went for a volcanology field trip to Mt Etna. Unfortunately no eruptive activity while we were there (but quite a lot since we left!). I did manage to bring some rock samples back, all of which are under 20 years old which I think it pretty cool.

Turns out a pint of wine in a restaurant is cheaper than a pint of beer over there at 4-4.50 euros rather than 5 euros.

I bought one of the most expensive bottles of wine in the supermarket too at a whole 5.20 euros. The average was about 2 euros.

 Good point. Though after Lucy's death Phil and Ian DID bond a bit more.

I'll buy this as well to make things even: http://niftycases.com/eastenders-ian-beale

He WAS homeless at that point. Went cray cray after his fiancé left him and disappeared from the square for a while.

I think I have some serious catching up to do! I haven't watched the show in like 10 years. Why does nothing nice ever happen to Ian?
