They look cute, where do they live? And are you allowed to hold them?

My Mum has been cutting my hair since I plopped out.

She's not a hairdresser but she's had lots of practice on me now ....
They are the world's tiniest primates

All the species can be found in islands of Southeast Asia, and judging from pics on Google and documentaries I've seen, some of them are ok with being handled.

Also they have really expressive faces!

I've only seen my GP once about my migraines.
    I told them my symptoms

    Aura (blindness)
    Nausea
    Killer headache
    Vomiting
    Sensitivity to light and sound
Stomach becomes unresponsive (food doesn't digest, and my gut doesn't do what a gut does...)

All they gave me were medication to start my stomach again.

But it is hit and miss with oral medication .... to work my stomach needs to digest it .. but my stomach becomes unresponsive during a migraine. So when I get the Aura I have to take my medication immediately.

I have nothing for the pain though, I do have your typical pain relief tablets from Tescos but I don't want to take both prescription drugs and over-the-counter drugs together without seeing a GP first in-case it mucks up my liver somehow or something if I took both.

    Thanks, they are horrible.
    Awh, really? Gosh, sounds awful
I don't get any issues with my stomach during migraines, so meds manage to ease the symptoms a bit most of the time.

You should really talk to your GP a bit more, as they should really be giving you something.
Any sort of Triptans would help a lot, and you'd be given some stronger painkillers.

Yeah, mixing things is generally not advisable... took a combination I thought would be okay the other day and managed to knock myself out :erm:

I try not to drink any tea in case caffeine is a trigger for my migraines, i've never really checked contents for herbal teas though .. I probably should.

This all sounds very useful actually, i'll make a list ...
    Definitely craving shortbread.

How often do you get your migraines?
I think green tea is the only one with caffeine in, but I'm pretty sure you can get decaffeinated green tea.

My migraines are triggered by stress, so if life doesn't overwhelm me then I rarely get them. Last year I suffered them every day in November because uni was stressing me out. That was a pain in the arse. Since then I've only dealt with them just once or twice. I'm not a nice person when I have a migraine or a headache. :innocent: I just stay away from everyone and sit in darkness or try to sleep it off because it's the worst pain in the world and I have nooo idea how to handle it.

    It depends.

But moderation on this site is also bias.

    Scary.

And baby hippos look like slimy aliens.

No. I used to think they were mythical creatures though.

Do you know any other weird facts?
Slow Lorences are natures alcoholics - they eat fermented fruit with the sole purpose of getting drunk.
