    Just be careful with taking the overdrafts - be wary that the will hit you with as many charges as possible if you do the smallest thing wrong.

    I'm looking at options myself at the moment, and am tempted by ZakBank as it offers managed accounts to help budget, but also a guaranteed loan that can be paid with affordable repayments rather than being hit at the end - they also dont have any penalty charges at all.

    It also costs £48 a year.

    Given most banks charge you about a tenner for going unplanned overdraft, you'd have to do this five times a year to make it worthwhile...

    Go on their website and check it out, they have a £12 a year charge for using their services then an additional £3 a month charge for the managed account

    Ah right, i see now.

    Still like the concept, might look a bit deeper into it though.
