I did call the duck a duck a couple of times when I was drunk. Not doing it again though, seeing a girl bawl on the floor and threaten with suicide is not my cup of tea.

You haven't got much room to talk if indeed you are 5'3.

Very difficult question to answer in that situation.
You say yes and she might get upset, you say no and she could get upset if she thinks you're lying.

Either way, i think the best way of answering this question is not to answer the question.
Just make a comment on how beautiful she is or how much you love her...

"You know how amazing I am, do you really think I'd date a fatty?"

just be honest with her and let her know that if her weight was a problem you would not be with her, the fact that she asked means that she is feeling a bit insecure at the moment so just reaffirm your feelings for her

If she has recently put on a huge amount of weight, then just tell her the truth i.e. you are getting a muffin top and encourage her to get fit along with you through exercise and better dietary arrangements.

But if you got with her when she was already fat out of desperation or because you were attracted to her personality or her chubbiness, then you have not much room to complain but still try to find a way to for her to get healthier.

...how fat are we talking, here?
fat or slightly chubbier than average?
some girls can really pull off the chubby look, especially if they store some of the blubber in their breasts
    but...then there are the jabbas...

Being short isn't a choice, living a lazy unhealthy life is, making it much worse.

Also she isn't a table or chair, you are meant to enhance each others life, not fit into the imaginary girlfriend perception you have. Have being fit as a target you can achieve together, go running together, prepare meals for each other, motivate etc, etc. If you don't want to do this stuff together then why bother with her ?

As for the oq, probably something along the lines of "No, but doesn't make a difference, even if you had no hands or legs you would still be part of my life, probably as a pillow"
