My surname is a Norman surname. The earliest record was a Norman landowner from 1220. On Ancestry.co.uk every person with my surname is related to me. It's amazing. It's like we are a single family that has branched out all around the world. And I've never come across a person with out surname and my first name.

I have nothing to hide but I don't like revealing my full name online because all the search results are on me. I suppose if I had stalkers they'd love it though :/
    Yeah same here.

If I just search my name, then the first couple of pages of results aren't anything to do with me, because there are Italian women with the same name as me. Their Twitters and Facebooks come up first. However, If I just add "UK" or "England" to the search, the first results are about me (mainly articles from my school's website as I represent the school in some sports).

My name is very uncommon. It sounds a lot like Simone and that's what everyone hears the first time i introduce myself. I googled my name and it turns out i am some major international german/austrian company specialising in sealing or something like that. Well, at least my name is popular in germany/austria or one of those countries

Yes, it's a unique name. It's yield just 9 results on Google search, two of which are me, and the rest are just nonsense. I don't think there's a single person in the whole world who shares my name. I never share it online! I have many aliases.

hmm i am intrigued... but i doubt you'll share your name here. so you seriously think that in 7 billion people on this planet you're the only one with your name?

My first name is very uncommon, my surname not so much. I haven't mentioned my name online to anyone before, instead I use my nickname.

I don't have an uncommon surname, but I do have an uncommon first name. I'm the only person on Facebook with it and if I Google myself the first results are of me, and the Google Images are of me.

    I like my name though

Yes, I'm almost certain of it. There's certainly no internet record of any person with the same name at all. Sadly, I don't think I can share it on here

My first and last name are both common, especially my first name.
One of my middle names is common, the other is a word, not a name XD.

There are Loaaaads of people with my first and last name (even a TV show character had my first and last name!), however I doubt anyone else in the world has my exact full name, including both middle names. Googling my whole name comes up with absolutely nothing *shrug*. That's not all that impressive though, because my first and last names are common I:

Awww why not? is it cringe-worthy? if so, there's nothing to be embarrased about it's a name

Haha no, I absolutely love it actually , especially my given name. It's hard for English people to pronounce it, though.

I've spent much time trying to find somebody with my first and second name and I'm sure in the history of life in the universe nobody has had my name combination. Ever.

My girlfriend is the only person on Facebook with her name, and her middle-name is even more obscure. If you google her name only pictures that she's posted, some not even of herself come up (like her dog, DPs she's had on forums, extremely old school pictures, etc.), which is kind of creepy-ish. My name is really common, but for some reason more so in girls. I don't even understand, my name isn't that feminine.

I have a Spanish name and my surname is quite different. When searched a few articles about me and my secondary school used to come up but I contacted the site owners to have my name removed from the articles. I am quite a private person, I rarely tell people my real name online because I like to retain my anonymity.

Lee Mills is my alias. It has no relation to my real name. I picked it because it's common, unlike my real name.

In real life it's a different story, I'm not fussed about retaining my anonymity because it's likely that if I meet new people I will converse with them again. However, online I write lots of personal things on forums and I'd rather not tell strangers who I am in case they know me etc..

I have a common first name but uncommon surname. I'm the only person to have ever lived with my combination fore and surname, that's not including my Christian name. (according to ancestry.co.uk)

Google results of my name obviously bring up results of only me - and 'related' results of a famous rugby player, who I must be related to in some way due to us being a small family and me having relatives in the country he comes from.

Have a Turkish name and it's one of the most embarrassing things to introduce yourself to someone because they can never pronounce it properly so I've ended up with multiple different variations of my name.
