    LOL @ that emoticon!

I tried watching Forrest Gump recently, but got bored after just a few minutes, I prefer Hanks in films like Ladykillers and Captain Phillips.
It's a great emote. One of my top 10 most used emotes probably.

I thought forrest gump was alright. still upset that it managed to beat out BTTF which is a far superior film imo.

Whaa:shock: Forrest Gump is brilliant.. You should try watching it again, I wasn't a big fan of The Ladykillers, found it slightly boring..and I've yet to see Captain Phillips.

Another person that has missed out on the wonder that is Lion King?

I'm dying of shock here. Have you ever listened to Hakuna matata?
I've heard the song, and know most of the famous quotes. I've just never really liked it, had a Disney-animation-free childhood.. Well other than Mulan, Sinbad, Little Mermaid..and some other ones ..okay I've never really liked The Lion King, blergh shall have to watch it, and Frozen..

Omg...I'm genuinely upset and offended! Take it back!! Lol just kidding. I loved ladykillers, thought it was absolutely hilarious, not really because of Hanks but mostly due to the other actors. And Captain Phillips is really awesome, you should definitely watch it, it's classic Hanks doing what he does best.

Go watch it now. i'm sure it's on netflix or Amazon prime streaming service or something .

And Frozen has equally catchy songs. Is not as much of a classic but pretty good.

haha same hear, thank God for that. I've always thought Disney was too cheesy and sentimental. I watched Mulan a while back, really hated it!

Anyone else surprised that despite being a vote magnet, Shawshank is not one of the most heavily watched films?

I am expecting lots of 16/16 here...

I'm also putting up a multi-choice poll in the OP so you can pick all the ones you've seen. :yep:

Also, All of the group final polls are up already so go to them, comment and vote on them!

We currently have 8 group finals to find the TSR best film in each category. :yep:

Best animation between Lion King and Finding Nemo is going to be close i reckon.

Yea, i'm really shocked. Looking at this vote i think we may have surprise animations doing very well overall.

I have seen Batman Begins, didn't like it though. My friends swear to me that Dark Knight is much better, so there is hope.

what did you not enjoy about Batman begins?

Dark Knight is a much better film imo but if you didn't like batman begins because you jsut don't like superhero films then there's not much hope.

It isn't that I don't like superhero films in general. I really like the X-Men and Amazing Spiderman series but that's about it.. I didn't like the original Spiderman trilogy, Batman Begins, Thor (both), Captain America, Iron Man or Avengers Assemble. With Iron Man 2 and Man of Steel I got bored and switched them off half way through. I don't think I'll bother with Marvel stuff from now on.
